Here are some websites that we've found helpful over the past 2 years of having Harvey. They contain lots of information on dogs and Danes in particular.

www.the-kennel-club.org.uk - this is the official site of the UK Kennel Club and has lots of information including details of forthcoming events.

www.midlandandwestgdc.org.uk - the website for the Midland and West Great Dane Club. Has details of all Championship and Open Dane shows for each year and information of previous show results.

www.alchera-greatdanes.com - this is Marilyn Winyard's site - she is very well know on the Dane show scene and breeds blue and harli Danes. Her website clearly shows her love and devotion to her Danes and her knowledge of them. A site well worth visiting.

www.dog.biz - information on dogs and you can enter Championship shows via the website.

www.highampress.co.uk - amongst other things, this site has details of all Championship Show results and has an archive section.

www.prodogs.co.uk - this site lists a huge number of Open and Championship shows, including specialist Great Dane clubs shows, often with contact details.

www.greatdanesonline.co.uk - this is an extensive forum where Dane owners post various messages about a whole range of topics including puppy problems, feeding and exercising, health issues and general Dane chat. You can get some really good advice by posting a topic on anything, there will always be someone who is willing to help.

www.welcomecottages.co.uk - this is a website of a company who rent cottages in the UK, Ireland and France. You can search for 'pet friendly' accommodation, of which there are many, and they don't charge extra for taking your dog with you.
